We all spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars to make our vacation as magical as possible. But did you know there are a few freebies you can get during your visit?
Yes, water is actual free. Just walk over to any counter service location and ask for a cup of water. No need to spend $3 on a bottle of water!
If you are over at Disney Springs, head over to The Ghiradelli shop near the Marketplace Stage. The shop regular offers free samples of their chocolate.
- Pick up or Delivery
If you are staying on property, instead of the hassle of carrying your new purchases with you all over the park, just let the cast member at the register know you would like to have the items delivered to your room. (Note: It would be delivered to your room the following day by noon). Another way is to pick up your merchandise at the front of the park. It takes about 3 hours to be sent.
- Movies Under the Stars
When arriving to your Disney resort, ask for a schedule of the movies they will be playing. (Yacht & Beach Club play their movies out by the “beach”.)
- Drawing classes
Head to Hollywood Studios or Art of Animation for a drawing class. You can take your masterpiece home with you. The artist will even give out their drawing to the winner of a Disney trivia.
- Stickers and Celebration Buttons
Most Cast Members give out stickers of Disney characters, just make sure to keep your eyes out for them.
If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, engagement, family reunion, first visit, or your very own accomplishment (I’m celebrating button), head over to Guest Services at any park and pick yours up. In Disney Springs, head over to World of Disney and ask a Cast Member working the register and he/she will try to get you one.
Oddly enough, I have met quite a few people that did not know this existed. Club Cool over in Epcot has a selection of soda from all around the world. And it’s free! Just grab your cup and fill up.
Celebrating a birthday? Many Disney restaurants will gladly give you a small cupcake as a way of celebrating with you. From personal experience, I have received a cupcake from Cape May Cafe (with a birthday card signed by the characters), 1900 Park Fare, Sci-Fi Dine In, and TRex.
